Calling For T Shirt Reps from North,South,East,West
Hey guys,
As you all would know by now, we will soon be having our very own T shirts. I wish to call for 4 representatives, each from a different zone in Singapore. I would like 1 representative from: North,South,East,West The representative will be in charge of: 1) Collecting all orders and payments for the T shirt. 2) Paying and collecting on behalf of those under your zone. 3) After collection, all those who have ordered from you will collect it from a location of your choice. This is to facilitate a more efficient method of distributing the T shirts. I look forward to seeing volunteers for this movement. The faster we can settle this the faster we can get our shirts! So please, reply here with your interest and i will get your contacts via PM as well as get to know you better. Cheers, Jerome |

Jerome,
Petfrd is also doing a similar thing but they are using bank transfer as a means to prevent people from not honouring their promise. I dun think it is fair either for the rep to handle the payment as well. I can volunteer the west region from my place. |

The Reps are NOT supposed to pay for the rest, they are supposed to collect the money from their zone, via bank transfer or cash, whichever suits you. Hope that clears things up for everyone.
I do not wish for the Reps to pay for the others, but to collect the payment before confirming their orders. And thanks for volunteering, will drop you a PM soon. Cheers, Jerome |

I will suggest ALL money transactions be done through POSB transfer
This is also to avoid alot of controversies As to what andrew pointed out, this is practised in petfrd and without any hiccups. Those who didnt pay will have their names taken out from the order list. Since Jerome is not in Singapore, maybe all transactions be done to Mandz who will confirm the people who had ordered and paid and order the shirts. This is to avoid people who 'aeroplane' at the last minute and in the end, who is going to absorb the cost of the shirts that were not taken? After paying, people will be more obliged to turn up to collect the shirts I will suggest the role of the volunteer is only in charge of distributing the shirts I dun mind volunteering to be the rep for North if everything is done this way |

As mentioned by |ceberg, i'm not in singapore which is why i have decided to have 1 main rep and 4 seperate reps.
There is no arguement as to which method the payment should be carried out, Bank Transfers are highly recommended. Keith is currently busy with work at the moment and thus i wish not to add to his workload. However if you guys feel its best to pay to one person and collected by zone reps so be it. Now i need someone whom i can trust with payments. How is the person supposed to monitor all orders and payments? Its not gonna be an easy task, which is why i delegated it to zone reps, to break down the numbers, making it easier to handle. So let me know how you want it done, and with that, WHO wants to be the one to do it? Cheers, Jerome |
