Why do you need to do so much water change? Superficial scratch will heal on its own. Monitor if not better then update us. Cheers.

If lets say is just a scratch on the eye, just leave it as it is. I had experience this problem with my ex-SR. After 1 day, the scratch is gone. But if it is the incidences of cloudy eye can be maintained by keeping the water quality in a good condition, and adding a small amount of aquarium salt to the water at water changes.

When there is a scratch on the cornea, the natural reaction of the cornea is to cloud up. It's called corneal oedema. Corneal oedema is usually followed by neovascularisation & epithelisation & healing. You can add some acriflavine or better still transmore the aro & apply it directly to the eye. This is to prevention infection. Usually superficial scratches would heal without any treatment.
