Aro swims with mouth open & close
Fellow Bros ,
need to seek experts advice , my aro started swimming with his mouth opening and closing as he glides in the tank , he was alrite until i fed him this afternoon with 30 ++ pcs of super worms , does this type of symptoms occur when aro has been overfed or there is a problem ? I tried changing 30% of the tank water after this happened and added some salt but the situation did not change much , i am still monitioring , hope to get some advice here . |

It's not adviseable to have such overfeed. You CW 30%, made him more uneasy.
Just allowed him to have the SW digested. He'll be fine. Split into longer feeding's interval will avoid this reoccurance. Last edited by 9J9236; 20-03-2005 at 01:10 PM. |

Don't overfeed as it increases the bioload. Generate plenty of oxygen with airstones will help. Remember to use aged water & anti-chlorine too.
