Unhappy A layer of white over my Aro's Eyes

Dear anyone,

There is a layer of white developing in the top part of my aro's eyes. I suspect it's the water condition but could not confirm.

I would appreciate if anyone out there who has similar experience could advise me the cause and treatment method.

Many thanks in advance.

well it probably is ur water, U should be doing at least 25% water change every week. if u dont do this, then start and add salt to the tank, 2 tablespoons for every 10 gallons.

Well bro, had this problem not too long ago but its getting better. The water condition is the main problem for this. Bad water condition will cause cloudy eyes. If you have Activated carbon in your filter, pls remove it. You shd only have it there for a maximum of 4-5 days. The AC does its job by absorbing toxics from the water and after about 5 days, it really has no more effect. but if you continue to have it in your filter then the reverse starts to happen. It will start to release toxic back into water double the amount it has absorbed, so always remove AC if you have it in your filter.
I suggest you WC 20-30%, put in New AC just to absorb all the toxic in the water. add 0.3% salt. leave it overnight and the next day remove the AC and after about 5 hrs, WC add epsom salt and salt. Do WC everyday for about a week and observe. I did this to my aro and it seems to be getting better. Ask bro Vetduck what he thinks... he's the real expert. Thanks

Based on that, you should change your water more oten. and put a UV sterilizer will help. Please age your water first.
