redcross Intestinal problems?

hey, i'm a newbie and was hoping u could answer this...but i think my silver aro has an intestinal disease or whatnot (or that's what ppl r tellin me) cuz his waste is white. I've been feeding it hikari pellets and his waste was brown then he stopped eating it and kept spitting it out so i changed its food to shrimp and he eats it now. But the new problem is that its waste is now white.

Does that mean it has an intestinal problem? If so, what can i do to make him better?

He swims around and has a good appetite but sometimes he just sits at the corner of the tank for no more than 20 minutes at a time. I dunno if thats normal...

In any case, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

white poo does not always mean intestinal disease.
is the poo stringy / floating / mucous / loose form (powdery)?

If your fish has a good appetite, why not consider New Life Spectrum Thera +A Formula.

Thera +A Formula has a min 38% protein, and 7% fat is a none medicated food that contains a mega dose of allicin compound which is found in garlic. It help to get rid of the instinal worms and parasites on the fish. Some claim they got rid of ich by using Thera +A formula. It definitely helps. You can feed your fish with this formula all the time since there is no medication involved. It would also be a good staple for any adult species that are carnivorous. Feed lightly, each pellet packs a lot of nutrition.

One good point to take note is that U are able to get Mr Pablo (CEO of NLS) advice at http://forums.spectrumfishfood.com/ if choosing their products.
