15inch PG stops eating
hi Guys any1 can help me my 15 PG for the past 1 week not eating at all.
even though his fovourite food small frogs are there he doesnt even look at them at all. it all started due to my heater made the water so hot. I panick and change alot of water to cool the tank and now my PG doesnt eat at all. Guys need you advice how do you position the heater in the tank, is it in the straight way or horizontal way and what temp should it be in. |

your fish could be sensitive.........

Normal temperature 26~28 enough. Can increase to 31 if required for fungus treatment but you need to bubble tank for sensitive fish. Place heater near to filter inlet or outlet, this will ensure proper temperature circulation throughout the tank. Best to place it vertical. But for safety reasons it can be placed at an angle or flat on the bare tank bottom ~ exposed heater during WC is a risk !!!! Do not panic and make no sudden changes to water temperature and never do more than a 20~30% WC unless no choice. |

Maybe you can try removing the heater.....unless your tank is in an air-con room. Weather already very warm.....not need heater.
See whether that will cause your aro to start eating. |
