if its active during feeding...........maybe it is just stressed from the light?

or just a lazy aro?

try adding.....a powerhead facing the resting spot

That's normal. Even better than most, in fact; yours comes out to eat. Many aros in new tanks go on hunger strike. Give him a little more time to get used to his new home, he'll be swimming confidently around your tank soon.

well, I had my comm of 5 aros for 6 months now, they are always bunched up in a corner near the powerhead (whether it is on or off doesnt matter), and during feeding time they will all be very aggressive and swim all over the tank (6x2.5x2).

I also dont know how to get them to swim around, but i did notice that when I am not in their sight, they tend to swim around a bit more! shy? or weird?

Bro, I think this is normal for a newly introduced aro to hide in the corner. I also had this problem when I first got my RTG. It hides when light is on but, when off swims. I have had it for about two and a half months and just last week started to swim proudly. I think ur fish just has to get used to the new enviornment.
