Default Brothers! Fin Cut Advice Needed!

Hi HENG DAI!

i need to know where should i cut the pectoral fin which is crooked on my lixiaolong!

No hard feeling, Bro. I dun see the need to operate since your aro is swimming well and eating well - IMHO.

i know but this is the aro that tag number came out first prize 4d 4441 after i bought it. so i need to repay it by giving it some plastic surgery.

wow u gotta cut quite deep in and at that size, the bone is quite hard... i tried on a 8" aro before... really need to apply strength on the surgical scissors to cut it.

cut at the start of the curve... ie between a and the base of the fin.

IMHO....there is no need to cut it. I think your aro would be more thankfull if you'd leave it alone then to cut it.

Simple answer to that. DO NOT CUT.

If you cut the hard ray at that point so close to the base of the pectoral fin, it'll take ages for it to re-grow & can cause a lot of trauma. Besides chances are it'll re-grow the same way again.

cut lah. no risk no gain

i did that to my panda rtg (8") and bk red (4"). both i cut not becos of curvy but due to chip. takes about 1 month to grow back, if i recall correctly.
