jelly liked substance discharge
I have a question with regarding to my 13 inches xback. Today when i got home, i found a piece of whittish jelly liked subtance discharge on the bottom of the tank. It's looked like it either was discharged from the stomach or intestinal wall of my aro. Upon closer examination, from the inside, there are brownish debris (could be from undigested superworms from yesterday). He is not eating when i try to feed him his usual superworm. He is swimming a bit slow , but other than that, seems normal for now. So what is he having and the reason for the discharge? Should i be doing anything or just sit tight and wait this condition out? Thanks so much in advance for any helps, advices you guys could provide.

hi moneyless,
agree with Aroboy. i think epsom salt will help digestion. i hav a pic of my aro's undigested vomit in my gallery under unknown. does it look similar? if so, it's likely due to overfeeding...my aro's vomit contain SWs + froggies Cheers. |

ya, i looked at your gallery under unknown, it looks very similar to what you posted it. This is the first occurence for me, thanks a million, i can sleep better tonight. But come to think of it, my xback only eat about 12-15 superworms/day. Not a lot by any standard. I wonder why it would constitute overfeeding. Once again, thank you wanwan and aroboyII. |
