fading gold

Dear all,
i've noticed that my aro's gold is fading on its scales and gill plates. what can i do to remedy it? what causes it? pls advice. tks.

i fed it with prawns all along while. but it is until recently that its gold start to fade away.

Check ur water condition

What is your PH?

A healthy aro will have nice color....Check your water condition...if water is OK....then it must be the aro diet.......

Try to use different kind of foods....MP, SW, Cricket....and add some fish vitamins as supplement.....

Dun really have to feed them live food. Just add pellet in the MP to feed to increase the vit & nutritient. Buy those smalle pellet so u can insert in. If ur aro is big one, can buy those food stick & insert to the MP. I do this all the while cos i think MP alone not enough vit. But i dun wan to feed live food, so i use MP with pellet inserted. By the way, MP can make water turn bad easily. So better do frequent Water change. i do 1/4 water change every 3days. Also can add S7 or arovital to the water
