redcross My fish infected with Red Spot...Pls Help!Urgent

Hey Bro outhere,

Something to bother u guys outthere...i am sorry...i am super worry about my 8"+ YT Aro....

He got infected with RED SPOTS...

Some info i got from websites shocking me...Can someone explain in great detail or steps need to be taken...

Extracted from Website

Causes: Also called red erysipelas. It is almost incurable in Arowana.it usually happens while the Arowana is young due to malfunctions of the filtering system.

Symptons:THe infection mostly happen near the tail.It begins with red dots.Later the infected area swells and tend to warp. Fineally the Arowanaa would die of ulceration as secondary infection sets in.

WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?
I have add medication and aquarium salt to my tank....change 50% water and use a new wool filter....

Do u guys experience this?if ya, let me know as i am worry...what i should do?

The above symptoms similar to what i experienced right now....but it is stated "incurable"....Oh gush!

Help.....

i transfer to slightly bigger tank and only add anticholorine and black water...i guess maybe due to dirty filtering system...and stress...i just used back 10% old water and add 90% new water...

scrubbing new tank wif salt is a way of disinfecting the tank....after that water needs 2 be drained....

u no test kit? i suppose u didnt cycle ur tank....

wat u can do is, reduce feeding , add salt...(0.1%)....maybe add pimafix as well.......

wat med u currently using?
