Gill flukes in aros
Not sure if i gotten the wrong spelling.
My newly purchased aro seems to be scraping the gill area on the bottom of my tank. And soon the tankmates begin to do so too. I am wondering if they have gotten themselves gill flukes. There are no sign of white spots or ich or any other grows or sign of other disease. Begin to suspect gill flukes. Can aromedics advise on what to do? And also if it is really gill flukes what medication should i adminster. Will the medication affect and BBs in my filter? Thanks for answering my questions. |

However gill flukes is not the only cause of flashing & rubbing. Ectoparasites such as lice or argulus & anchor worms can cause flashing too. In which case different treatment is required. I've pm you some details. Cheers. |
