Default behaviour

hi,

noticed my red once a while will 'snap' towards the water surface every now and then....but the surface has no food.

what does this behaviour mean?

I noticed these few days. swimming well apart from this.

of course all the while poor appetite which is driving me nuts also.

Can anyone advise? thks

I mean 'swallow' one gasp of water/air from the water surface as if eating...tho nothing to eat.

did it target surface bubbles? wat did u feed it with?
if ur water condition is ok, it may not be due poor appetite but rather it's a fussy eater like my aro .
