redcross Need Help

My ST just died. I used to leave the uneaten MP overnight...could this be the reason that killed my ST?? Or could it be the feeder fish cos only my ST eat feeder fish.

Btw, my rtg and ff seems okay. Yesterday saw my ST rubbing itself against the pipe and not eating.

Can any bro enlighten me?

Thanks

Did you cycle your tank? Did you quarantine yr feeder fish? If yes, quarantine for how long?

Do i need to cycle my tank cos it is an old tank. I do wc, about 20% per week. normally, I will quarantine the feeder fish for only 1 days. But, notice that the feeder fish and froggies that i brought recently died very easily.

Different batch of feeder maybe different from what you get previously. We can't assume that every batch is ok. You still need to do a proper quarantine procedure for your feeder. That's why, I didn't feed feeder to my aro. Very troublesome. You must at least q them for 1 week min. Now your aro may not have a problem but is a accumulative. You may not know that 1 day your aro will suffer.
