How many percent salt u added? I suggest u add up to 0.5%. Check ur water like ammonia & PH. No point putting alot of salt or med if ur water parameter is not good. Use Melafix or Pelafix to help. Do water change every 2 or 3 days. Put heater to 32C

if it is, what i did was throw in 2 bags of salt, 2kg into my 5x2.5x2.5 and also add melafix. I did not put in heater. I just monitor every day.
Mine recover almost 3 weeks time.

Hope this info help.

Look exactly what my xback have got last week. One side of him is affected from the gillplate to the tail. What I did is I did a 20% water change and add slightly more salt plus on my UV-C unit over the night. And the next day, it's 90%++ recovered but I continue to let my UV-C to run for another few days to clear up the free swimming bacteria in the water while the salt do the wonder and the fish is still eating like pig.
