Look exactly what my xback have got last week. One side of him is affected from the gillplate to the tail. What I did is I did a 20% water change and add slightly more salt plus on my UV-C unit over the night. And the next day, it's 90%++ recovered but I continue to let my UV-C to run for another few days to clear up the free swimming bacteria in the water while the salt do the wonder and the fish is still eating like pig.

hmmm...well it works for me, maybe you can do a 10% water change and add 1 bag of salt, 1kg, btw how big is ur tank? if it a smaller tank, maybe half the bag. and dun feed for a few days and see how.
