Default Is my RTG scared of light?

I have a 15cm RTG which I bought 3 weeks ago, and is in a 100cm x 40cm x 40 cm aquarium with blue background. Every time I turn on the aquarium lights on (30 watts), my aro will stay still in the corner. This also happens in the afternoon when there is sunlight, he will swim to the same corner. But at night, he will swim normally around the aquarium. Is this a sign that my aro is in stress or maybe sick, or is he just adapting to the new environment?
I’ve tried using silver dollars as tank mate and also adding salt n rising up the temperature to 31 C.
What should I do?

Is normal lah, Bro. Still new to the environment. BTW do check your water parameters as well.

thanx for the advice.... I'm just worried that it might be sick (internal disease). This is my 3rd aro..and it's the first time that this happen...usually they quickly adapt. Maybe every aro has different characters..
anyway....it's eating normally but not as much as my other aro, maybe still in stress. I've tried using ketapang leaves/black water to make my rtg mor adaptable...but still doesn't work

If can, put a 3W buble to on 24hr. So when u on the light he won't b so scare. Lucky my aro is not like tat. Total darkness, i on light he also not afraid or hide. Some aro vry sensitive, if u only light suddenly will chong around banging in the tank & end up getting hurt.

Be patience. my 38cm Aro also took about a month to get used to new lighting. Initially, he swam to the surface & immediately dived down. This
posture happened several times. Body's even with dark rashes. I did 10% WC
daily. It took a month to change back as normal. I changed him from 2.5ft to
4ft tank.
