Default Coppersafe safe for filter bacteria?

Hi,

Does anyone know if COppersafe will decimate my filter bacteria if I use it to dose my tank? Cause it doesn't say in on the bottle or the instruction sheet...

remember last time I used didn't notice any cloudy water (i.e. BB death), but when check again now, can't find any reference to filter bacteria on the packaging or insert...

i think methylene blue is better for treating white spot leh. copper safe i think is the same as anti velvet medication. anti velvet medication does not harm the filter bacteria.

m blue will kill filter bact

Dun wanna use methylene blue cause:

1. Definitely kills filter bacteria as its an antibacterial
2. Will stain my tank

Coppersafe is good against ich, velvet as well as external parasites.. plus you only need 1 dose if you don't do WC and its stable for up to a month! Only thing I'm not sure of is the effect on biological filter
