Control PO4
Dear all bros,
My tank PO4 level is getting too high. As my tank use only external pump and no sump tank. I check with some shop, they suggest me to buy a PO4 reactor. Price for reactor is SGD95/-, Reacting agent is SGD65/-. (Too expensive for me) Can any bro teach me where I can get a cheaper reactor? |

the resun FR is quite cheap, less then half to a third of the price. For PO4 media, what is the brand they are selling and the total volume?

Another interim and inexpensive method is to place the phosphate removal media in a filter bag hang it inside the tank where there is a flow.
If using cannister then place the media in the last tray .... |

Reactor will definitely be better and more efficient as it allows consistent and even flow to the PO4 removal media..

Checking your PO4 value at least once a month will help you to determine when your media expire. Regards |
