Default aquamedic nitratreductor 1000

Ive got the aquamedic nitratreductor 1000 but i havent set it up yet.
from what i know its best to use it with deniballs, but no one can really answer my questions. I want to purchase some deniballs but no one knows how much deniballs do i need in my nitratreductor?

Ive seen many reefers use the aquamedics nitratreductor 1000 can anyone help me out?

HI Bro,

for NR1000, u will need 40pcs of Deniballs. It will last u abt 1-2 yrs. Trial & Error??? Its tested, so go for 40, won't go wrong.

Quite surprised to know u get such reply. Guess users are the ones that know their stuff best.

Cheers!

Goh

thanks for all the replies guys.

is there alot of mucking around to get it working properly?

almost every shop that ive spoken too recommends the Mv controller. is it really necessary to get such expensive device? but then again they have never used the NR1000 before.

Sorry for all the questions but who better to answer my questions than ppl that actually have one.
