Default Can help ID this fish?

Just bought this fish from a shop in Marine Parade.

Heard it'll help me move the sandbed and eat leftover food.

Can help ID it for me? pardon me but i'm new to this hobby.

Thanks for the prompt response!

just read the link that you gave me.

It says it needs a 30g tank at least and is considered difficult to keep due to its food requirements.

I am keeping a 10g tank, and am feeding dried pellets, with the occasional frozen brine shrimp only.

Any one here managed to keep blennies on requirements like mine?

Ben

Feed it at least 3 times a day would be good, u need to house it with less competitive house mate & make sure it gets enough to eat. normally, they look for search for food(critters) at LR & sandbed so a bigger system is an ideal place for them.

There's basically no competition for food as there is only one other firefish in the tank, which refuses to eat anything off the sand. This is the main reason why i got the bottom dwelling scooter blenny, to eat up leftover flakes/pellets which i have been feeding the firefish.

I hope he starts getting used to flakes/pellets soon, if not i may just have to change their diet.

Fire fish is a plankton feeder, that's they normally feed just below the water surface. provide a wider variety of food to them is a good bet!
