barbel swollen

I got 2 aro in my comm tank barbel swollen,the barbel look bigger n much longger.

It could be i have not wc for 2month.last week 2 st died suddenly.

These aro stop eating for 4-5day,look vey weak,float on top n breath heavily.

Anyone have experience these before?What can be done?What med to dose?Pls advise,help me.

Bro, ur water condition muz be damn jialat oredi to hve resulted in tis...

Wat u can do nw is to quickly do a WC of 30%, add in abt 0.1-0.3% of aquarium salt, on a heater n set at 28-30 degree celsius...overhaul ur filter medias with the tank water, change all the wools in ur filter...Provide mre aeration n water circulation in the tank...Dan do another WC in abt 3-4 days times...

As for the swollen barbels, i hve no ideas wat causes it...high chances due to bad water condition that result in the external bacteria infection..u can try using FURAN-G frm aquamedi for treating internal n external bacteria infection....

Gd luck...

Oh man since you know you have never WC for 2 months already then what are you waiting for? WC weekly is a must! No matter how good your filter media is.

last week wc 50%,ystd wc 70% alrd.i stil got some melafix,can i add them?

Wah bro relax on the WC amount. 70% alot wait ya ARO up the lorry. Don anyhow add anything. With WC observe the ARO. Add salt will do. Just watch and wait. How's the Aro appitite? Give lots of AIR.

If got no improvement from WC go C328 describe to auntie ya problem and she'll intro you which medicine to give ARO. Else wait for ARO medic to help.

if add anti-bacterial, shift aro to hospital tank, otherwise your filter system will screw up badly with all bacterials dead. very hard to tune back one (esp.with all the medications stuck in water and filter media).....I learnt it the hard way......wish ur aro a speedy recovery.....

Haven see the aro yet as i dun live there, but no feeding yet.
