Default Aro Barbels crossing!!!

Hi all, Juz wanna check wif u guys, does aro's barbels crossing mean something?

bro psb... my rambutan has crossing barbels since the day i bought it... in sept05 till now... could my case be in-born?

ur water condition no good...tat's y... Previously, my Aro oso hve cross barbel...but nw okie oredi... maintain gd water, it will be okie soon...

my water is okie, or at least pss every test but still crossed since sept05 till now... really cannot explain...

Add a Blower to blow. Buy those dolphine submerg pump for OHF, can chaneg the connector to blower bubble. So can act as xtrz eration Plus blow his barbel

1) Bad water condition
2) Strong current since young, in small tank will affect too.

If water condition improved but no sign of barbel improvement, then can consider to have it trim off for a new pair. But must really take care of the water condition during the period of recovery. Bad water condition will result in infection and uneven growth.

As for the 2nd, only way is to trim off.

So kind of u guys to have responed to my enquiry. But the thing is, water condition is gd so far. Aro eating well too. Will follow advises given. Will oso keep u guys update.. Many many tks!

i got the same problem as you

1) aro is eating well
2) water parameters are good (pH, temp, anti-chlorine/chloramine, ammonia all ok)
3) i tried putting another of my aro into the same tank but his barbels are straight

Aro is still small.. should i trim the barbels or wait for another few months?
