cloudy eyes is caused by bad or contaminated water. it will not spread to other fishes physically.

Default Now's my turn.....:( :(

My aro is having cloudy eyes now....it just happened.

Checked the water parameters. Here they are :

Ammonia = 0ppm
Nitrite = 0ppm
Nitrate = 5mg/l
pH = 6.5

Water change was done last night (about 24 hours ago) at 25% with sufficient stress coat added.

What could be the cause? Everything is performed correctly and water parameters fine.....

Mine too... just happened yesterday night. Water perimeters were fine.... Was thinking he could just have accidentally hit himself against the glass.... however, it seems a little better today... So far i have only added salt... hopefully tomorrow it will go away..

Cloudy eye could also due to the fish keep rubbing against the glass too much. Some may also caused by internal bacteria infection. Not neccessary to be water contamination.
