help to identify aro problem - is this PA or chip at anus?

hi bro,

my fren's aro hv a red thing at the anus.
is it PA or the tag comming out frm the anus?
it's eating normal. no problems & swimming as usual.

maybe it swallowed some stuff in the tank ?

looks like pa to me
if u wanna know try adding in epsom salt lor n set water tempreture to 30 - 32
if after 1 - 2 weeks still the same n u are pretty sure it is not pa, then go to ur lfs n seek their help lor

Actually it looks quite serious. When mine had PA, it was only some red thing sticking out. But your look like the anus hole enlarged till almost a tear.

Stop feeding for a week, dont add epsom salt. Increase water temp to 31 deg. Go to LFS to ask for some medication, they would know what to recommend if they specialise in aros.

Then change water every 2 days. Make sure no feeding for at least a week. Just keep monitoring for this week.

y dont add epsom salt?
last time when my fish have this problem i added in epsom salt
it cured my fish ler
but then i added in pimafix that time also

Bro, y cannot add epsom salt for Protruding Anus..??? Tot it's gd for treating that...???

This look like indigestion to me.The food stuck in the tummy.Must always choose the fish food and feed wisely.

espsom salt should cure it, no feeding for the time being.
