Default PH Tester

Hi, checking wif all the pro here that can i use fresh water test kit( High range, 7.4-8.6 ) from Redsea to test on my marine tank as i have run out of the marine test kit but have balance of the fresh test kit as i am keeping gold fish as well. It seem to look the same to me just the name different.

IMO, its better not to as the reagents used in the marine pH testkit maybe different from those in the fw pH testkit. This could result in incorrect results if you use the fw testkit, its better to buy a new marine pH testkit.

get a pH pen instead. That will cost around $40 for the hanna brand at C328.
