Ozone Generator
Hi, I have just bought a ozone generator. Kindly to check what is the time duration that i should on it? And btw, i am using a redsea primze skimmer so to say that if i were to place the ozone outlet tube near to the skimmer inlet, am i doing the correct way? Cos when i tried to connect the ozone outlet tube to the top of the skimmer air intake, i cant have the skimmer to suck the water up to the chamber. Thanks....

First of all, if you dont have a ORP meter/controller, I would not recommend you to on it for more than a hour a day.
On the ozone generator after the lighting has been switched on for at least a few hours. That is when when ORP is the lowest. You will also need a air pump to connect to the ozone generator then to your skimmer. Another option is to use a air dryer after the air pump to prolong the time and efficiency of the ozone generator. |

Hi, I have connect a air pump to the ozone generator then to the skimmer but the problem is i am using a redsea prizme skimmer which is a hang on. So to say that if i were to place the outlet of the ozone tube near my skimmer, which is to say directly into the water, will that work? Cos when i try to plug the outlet tube of the ozone into the skimmer air inlet, my skimmer cant skim at all cos the air bubble is being force back to the water suction pipe instead into the skimmer chamber.
