Hith
Can HITH spread? I'm getting a 9" RTG delivered to me to "Try" out as it looks like it has HITH...it will be going into my 360gal tank which house 4 13" Black Aros and 2 huge Stingrays.....I will try and take better pictures of it when it gets to my place tonight and post but here is the pics I received from the current owner. It's a big tank and I don't have any spare at the moment so treatment other then clean water is the only option I have at this time. I can't really add salt or too much of it as the Rays don't like that....so I will try and up the temp to see how it goes...any comments would be appreciated.
Here's the RTG witht the spots on it's head: The new home for this little guy when he arrives tonight. His tank mates so far...4 black aro and 2 XXL Rays |

Here he is in my tank...and a close up of the potential if not HITH...comments? he is eating pellets and very active....I am hoping with the much improved water circulation and quality, he will get better if there is anything to get better with..

Any activated carbon in your filter system? If yes, for how long? If no, chances of HITH is very low.
Besides if your fishes are eating well, I dun see any problem for now. |

Looks like infection of the sensory line.. (HITH).. does ur silver have the spots? does the sensory lines along the body oso exhibits exlargement of the holes? IMO.. usually with gd water condition.. the spots will go off... but from the pics.. the holes are quite big but does not look veyr serious yet.. so u might wanna consider insolating this bugger and dose medication

My Black Aros are fine....I just got this RTG from a friend....it's only been in my tank for 1hr. My friend got him from another guy who was not really taking good care of it so I don't think the water condition was good....I'm hoping with my water volume, condition and lots of water circulation it will improve..

Just monitoring your aro for now. If it is eating well with the pellets you feed, then no lack of vitamins and the chances of getting HITH is quite slim (Just my limited knowledge). Well, just let see what our aromedics have to say then. Dun worry so much, bro. Cheers.
