White eyes

Hi ShiFus,

My rtg white eyes are pretty serious, both eyes are white already. Will he go blind? Its already the second week and it seems to have gotten worse. I've added salt and raised the temp to 30 degrees and do alternate day 20% water change. But doing all these seems to have worsen the condition. Pls advise.

Hi,
changing too much water would also lead to cloudly eye, thus this lead to a worstening condition
Stop change water for these few days, and every time change water only change one inch or max two inch once a week.

Will try on the advise of stop changing water for a week or two. Any thing else i can do eg medication?

hehe, aro starts to respond to medication Aquamedi multicure. Not sure if it's entirely due to it becos white eyes seem to start clearing a little bit before i add the medication. But after adding, eyes almost all clear now after 3 days. Looks good now, and started feeding liao.

I had that same problem with my aro a few weeks back. Regular small water changes cured my fish. But that medication seems like magic. I live in Canada, do you guys know any online retailers that sell this product?

bro, i used many medication like melafix etc also useless. for my case, my fish had white eye on both sides for abt a wk and still not cured.
then i used Interpet Internal Medicine. One eye healed, the other think blind le... hai.......


one impt thing is that, dun just pour the medicine into tank water. mix it with warm water and then pour into the tank, it works better than pouring in without prior mixing. hope it helps !!
