Help: Damn Sucker did to my PNT
I have them together for 2 month without problem but today I see the big trunk on the shell of my PNT missing. and the Pleco is sucking on it. I removed the sucker already. What should I do now ?? what kind of medication I need for my PNT. please help. thanks.

jus remove the sucker fish will do. the shell will heal overtime.
pls maintain good water parameters, feed food high in calcium n give more vegs(NO spinach pls). if the affected area turn fungus then u should medicate. perhaps a few pics can better describe the injury. gd luck |

Yes. I did relocate that sucker and other sucker to my sump. Add another filtration to improve quality condition. Will change water tomorrow (about 20%). So far I applied Bio bandage (for fish) to shield the wound that is why the pink look on the shield now.

Rael : What kind of food that contain calcium? My turtle are eating on Koi pellet. thank.
I heard that PNT also eat Fig. I just found out that one of my tree is Fig with fruits now. I wonder if I can feed mine with slice Fig fruit for now ? and Thank all for infor will keep updated. |

wah first time i see PNT ganna attack...my PNT attack most of the fishes in my pond until the fishes fins almost destroy....anyway, make sure no infection on the shell....good luck

No I don't have Vampire Pleco, Just regular one( for cleaning purpose). He is feeding most on BIG Koi food because there are other fish in there always try to steal the food from him. I will try to feed him some Hakiri Algae.I never see him attack any fish. He and his friend PNT live quite peaceful for over a year. One thing is kind of weird. He always get sick in one way or other (from cloudy eye to get sucked), while his friend is super healthy. here is his pic today and his friend swimming around |
