No need to cut. Will grow back nicely. And why your RTG got so many chip scales?

this rtg the scale never develop properly leh
guess its the water condtion...
tried to add the leaves but ended up with more problems. hope things will turn out better.

check filtration, raise ph by adding Coral chips... revise your water changing regiment.

pH now at 6.84,
wc at worst once a week, trying to go to twice a week.
