12in aro will take a while. If top scale drop will take longer compared to body scales.

Lucky body scale. What happened was, I woke up earlier than usual on Sat morning, and it was not bright yet. Went up to the fish tank to turn on the light, but as just awoken and dark, took a bit of effort to locate the light. This made the aro freak out and started to jump. Lucky got cover. After that, notice one scale at the bottom of tank. Lesson learnt: don't creap up to your aro in the dark.

Drop scale is a cosmetic problem. Not to worry. As mentioned, just keep to good water parameters and should grow back within a month.
