Ray are sensitive
I found that rays are very sensitive when I did a water change.I scrubbed some of the aglae on the bottom of the tank.The ray will stop eating for a few days if worst the ray will rip.So far I hav lost 2 motoro and a sakura,left with a 12" mm.Hope bro will give some suggestion on how to prevent this from happened so that I could have a clean bottom tank.

normally if i scrub the algae, i'll do 20-30% WC immediately after. no fatalities so far ...
maybe u can elaborate how u do it.. |

I don't scrued my tank, i only use a sucker fish to clear the aglae. And i do water change of 20% Two time in a week. So far so good...

4 rays for once a week water change might not be sufficient. check your nitrate level. i dont dare add suckers as they might be the culprit of killing the rays instead
