Default Help....Broken tail

after the argulus.. now this.. may be the my aro strees up.. he decide to jump and break the tail fin.. can some one tell me what to do now.. what med i need to get arghhhhhhhh so stressfull at the moment

arghh please tell me what to do .. do i need to remove it.. will it grow back... :help :help

mine had suffered the same fate as yours but mine was even
worse than yours. It was half broke n yours was only 1/4 of it.
Anyway, just leave it n you don not need to do anything.
It will drop of n grow back by itself. What I'm afraid it will
not grow back to its 100% origin.

yes. need to ensure water is in good condition.
i have the same trouble 3wks ago when my aro jump in the tank and broke the anal fin.
the rays broke and left the fin dangling.

Ensure pristine water condition with 1 tablespoonful of non-iodide sale per 10 gallons of water. This will inhabit bacteria/ fungus growth rate. DO NOT ADD MEDICATION UNLESS THERE IS A SIGN OF INFECTION, OTHERWISE THE EDGE OF THE BROKEN TAIL WILL BE 'BURNT', LEAVING A BROWNISH RIM FOLLOW BY THE REST OF THE NEW GROWTH FINNAGE.

You will need to transmore the arowana and you can tear off the broken part. Do trim the end part and keep it clean. The rest of the treatment is just maintaining good water.
