Default IT stability

How can i make my semi-stable IT~7inch more stable..(brighter)...
They r tank together with my parrots fish.. is light a concern?

Your parrots are probably spooking the IT. Give it more space to hide or reduce parrot population.

Should be water condition I think. Recently bought 2 NTT from 1 bro, he claim to be charcoal 24/7. But when I put into my tank they become stable. Though there are a lot of bigger fishes in my tank they doesn't affect their colour.

I also have this problem, one of my IT have been with me for more than a year, but still "black black' type. My water parameter is ok. However, another 2 in another tank is rather stable. I guess sometimes you just have to give them time.
