Arcadia clip-on 11W
Hey guyz , would like to know which type of light tube is most suitible for planted tanks ? i just bought a arcadia 11W lightset which is pink in colour the light , any advise to change to which lighttube ? cause quite dark light no light penetration .
my tank is a 30cm by 25cm by 30cm , co2 adjust to the minimum . plants are mainly us fissiden and JP hairgrass Last edited by BuTLeR; 24-07-2009 at 03:23 PM. |

My personal opinion, 6500K to 8000K will do just fine for planted tank.

I think white light is best. Like mentioned, a Kelvin rating of 8000 or so is ideal.

why do you want to change the tube? i would suggest to first check if the tube is for plants. Can go to their website and check i think.
I bought arcadia plant pro 54W t5ho (4 ft) before and its pink in color. Its supposed to give the most suitable spectrum for plants. |
