To remove aro damaged scale and fin (due to fight in comm)
any bro got pro to recommend for the above job?

You can do it yourself easily. Just bag and transmore the fish, lay fish on a wet towel and pull out the scale that's all.

You are not gonna put the fish on the towel for too long. Try to complete the whole scale pulling procedure as fast as possible. Keep the fish wet. Once finish can just put the fish back into the tank. Hold the head of the fish above the airstone to revive it.

tks for the reply.after the removal of the damaged scale, do i need to put any medication?
would need to also cut the tail. pls see attached...the whole tail was bitten off while in comm tank. nw it has grown to be in an irregular pattern..any recommendations for this pro? |

Gd to soak the exposed wound with salt to prevent infection after removing the scale. Afterwhich, rinse the affected area, then apply med before releasing the fish into the tank...
As for the tail, need to cut it off completely to have a gd chance of it to grow back swee swee... Last edited by glyeo84; 02-08-2009 at 10:30 PM. |
