need help here. 1ft PL or T5 light.
1ft Boyu 9w pl light or 1ft aquazonic T5 6w x 2?
which light should i get for my 1ft cube tank. currently playing with xmas moss and shrimps. any bro can help? thanks alot. |

A 9W should be sufficient since you are growing only christmas moss.
If the prices btw both does not differ alot, then get the T5 6w x 2 A rule of thumb for lighting will be 2-3 watts per gallons Hope its helpful |

IMO, i would only use T5 / T5HO if my tank's height is more than 1.5ft.
anything below that. PL is enough for most plants. other than that, lifespan, cost, kelvin. agar agar the same one. |
