redcross My Ray tail broke and is dangling

Dear bros and sis my Ray tail broke into two as got into a fight with other tankmates and currently it is dangling at the other end. May I know will it pose any danger to it's life? it is only a 6 inch pup and any advise to treat such condition? Should I cut the broken tail end or let it drop by itself? Or just leave it alone? The Ray is still eating mp now. Pls advise.

Are you able to post a pic of the area where the tail broke? My advise is to leave it. As long as it is eating well, it will be fine. Just keep ur water tip top condition to prevent secondary infection setting in.

Is it normal for pup rays to break it's tail for many reasons from young to adulthood?
