lens baby and macro adapter

Hi,I own a dslr and I'm interested to do some photography on my fishes.. I was just wondering whether any bros here are using lens baby or macro lense adaptor?? Any one could suggest which one to get and all or should i just get a macro lense instead..

what's a lens baby? macro lens adaptor as in extention tubes or close up filter? or the adaptor to reverse mount a 50mm?

for me i just go for a 1:1 macro

lens baby is used for "special effects" and i dun think you want it for your macro.

if you have budget go for an actual macro lens.

Oh, hmm..maybe I'll just get a lense then, on a budget for one actually.. any to reccomend?

Macro adapter enable you to take macro pic with your kit lens,
but focusing is difficult. Not something to take your fast moving fish with.
Price is quite cheap, $2xx+.

Best choice is a macro lens. Tamron 90mm is very good and cost $5xx for a used one.

I suggest you get a proper macro lens. 105mm and above. 60mm is the cheapest but u cant take extremely small fishes well. if you are new to photography, please do note that 105mm and 105mm MACRO are two very different lenses.

might want to get a external flash too.

You dont need a dedicated macro lens to do macro stuff. What lens do you have now?

2nd Hand in CS selling at $90++ some seller selling

if got cash to spare buy tamron 90mm, it worth the price and sharpness

ahha, i did further studies on the forums and realised that what bro edsel said is true, i followed Koji's thread and tried out the reverse lense technic on my own, still improving on it since its on MF, also, just bought male to male couple ring from http://store.tagotech.com/index.php?cPath=22_40, i thought the stuffs from there are pretty value for money.. worth checking out if you haven't. Thanks for the replies bro~
