Default Hole-in-head successfully treated

My LH was suffering from HiH disease. It went from a small lesion to a hole the size of 5c coin in just a few days. It was covered with white pus. Pus particles were seen floating around in the water. Quite gross. I was so desperate that I netted the LH out & did a cleansing of the hole.
After washing the wound, I sprinkled yellow powder & some aquarium salt on it. I think it must have really stung!!! It was wriggling abt. Desperate time calls for desperate measures
After a min or so, I put the LH back into the tank & kept my funger crossed. Poor fella must have been so tramatised, it hid in a corner. I switched off the lights & added a heater. Observed it the next few days. To my surprised, the pus disappeared & the hole healed. Now the big fella is back to normal eating & swimming happily. The hole is still there but slowly getting smaller.

Sharing this experience with hobbyist here, hopefully can be useful to anyone who may face the same problem.

For discus whereby the hole in the head is serious, there is a method similar to yours. Net up the fish, clean the "wound" with cotton bud. Then cover the hole with Metronidazol powder.
