Stinger lodged in stingray's lungs
Currently have a male motor ray around 13" and found there is an old stinger that is lodged in the lungs on the underside of the ray. Can see some redness around the area.
What is the best way to remove the stinger? Can I use transmore on the ray to knock it out? Please help. |

wow that very dangerous man..how deep is the stinger stuck into the lungs?..
not easy to remove becos its zizag razor teeth, once u pull out will tear the skin, last time my aro was stung by the stingray and it went halfway into the stomache luckily it drop off after 1 week.. your situation is very tricky never try before transmore not sure will the ray be able to revive after transmore..better to monitor and see if it will come out by itself. |
