Default cichlid frys!

had some success in stripping the mom after a few minutes of struggling with her. decided to strip her on day 12 of holding as she looks a little weak.

here's how they look. abt 30 of them came out!

thanks all.

i'm not sure if i identified them correctly.

the father is definately a Labidochromis caeruleus and the mom should very likely be a Metriaclima estherae.

This is the 2nd pregnancy. the 1st one, i didnt even know it was holding eggs until i saw a really small yellow fish swimming in the tank. so this is the successful pregnancy where i managed to save most of the eggs

oic, i'm guessing the above 2 yellows are the parents as the frys are pure yellow in color.
