i believe all fishes need anti-chlorine, best is get those 3 in 1 type, anti chlorine, chloramine n ammonia. 1 stone kill 3 birds.

Used to have 12" x 4pcs of siam snakehead in a 3ft tank. Nice coloration, very hardy but very big eater as cld consume $10 of feeder gf within a day. Adviseable not to keep more than 2 big pcs, if not pocket many holes...hahaha....

In the pond at the Botanic Gardens, the toman was found to be the culprit for the declining number of swans residing there.

I have kept them before when I was inexperienced. Didn't put any anti-chlorine just let water aged a few hours, survived.
