If they look long and slimy, then they could be planaria. You may want to check this link and see if this is what you have: http://naturalaquariums.com/inverts/worms.html

Change your filter wool and make sure there's no left over food inside the tank.

Sometimes, the food (eg: MP) will stuck at the inlet of the pump which we are unaware of.

I experience that when one of my tank ph dropped very fast suddenly. I checked carefully and realised the mp stuck below the pump of my ohf. After removing it, the ph stable back.

Use Vermex. It will kill the tiny worms in no time. Usually feed with MP and if left over will cause it to grow. So just make sure clear the leftovers.

If confirm is planaria, mainly introduce into aquarium in the form of cocoons. Over feeding with left over foods will result in breeding.

Control feeding with no left over food and raise nitrate level will reduce their population. Vermex and no-planaria will kill them.

Normally i do scoop up the leftovers...but maybe i have overlook on some tiny bits of it which results in this. As for the above, Vermex and No-planaria will it affect my fishes in any ways?
