feeding stingrays with sand bottom!!!
im wondering if it might be bad idea if feeding stingrays with Massivorce sinking pellets when they're in the tank with SAND.....i know they can filter out but there still some sand that will be taking in together with pellets (plus they always make a mess when feed with pellet --from chewing)...im thinking of adding sand to my bare bottom for the rays to play but afraid since im feeding with pellets. hope anyone can give me some advise.
Rays are 10"-16", keep for about 1 year already . thanks |

It's alright IMO to feed rays with pellets, with sand on the bottom.

It's ok to give it a try, if you see ray abnormal behavior remove sand and back to normal
