PH for Mosura Substrate(soil)

Hi

I will be starting a new shrimp tank, any seniors around that have use Mosura soil? It seems that not much information can be found on the net.

Any users that could advice on the PH level for this soil, was attracted to it mainly because of its light brown colour.

I just bought this too. It's been 3 days already ph is around 6.3 after 1 day and 6.1 after 2 days. I think it's staying at around 6-6.2. I don't know how long is the life of the soil.

The pH of mosura soil can drop to 5 plus after placing for some time.

Bro u must be Heng or u add some secret recipe in? Hahaha I try 6.5 a few other same maybe different bag different in ph buffeting? Haha

Our tap water also different ah. My workplace super high ah.

No secret lei. Soil pH went too low that my shrimps couldnt take it. Another problem.

Same same here. Mine was around pH8.7 that I had measured long time ago.

8.7 is really bad...unless you keeping sulawesi. Mine 7.8 already headache

You should try the water from my workplace tap. Straight is 8.5 and after went through tap filters slowly then drop to 7 plus.
