Question Baby Sterlet

Got this baby a week ago, have been restless since day 1. Is this normal? How to see if the fish is feeling uncomfortable with its tank? It's been eating well though.

Bro, hope you're not staying in SG, that piece is not a legal fish to keep. Do refrain from posting online.

Oh.. Nope, he's living in my Malaysia home. Seems that there are very limited care resources in from tropical pet owners, so anxious to get advice cos paid a lot for it...

Hi bro, i happend to have 1 too of similar size. As far as i know from my lfs, they r quite easy to take care of. Originally prefer cooler water, but can get used to our weather. Love bloodworm, just got it to start taking sinking pellets. They take small guppy too if able to catch them.

Thanks bro! is the hyperactive behavior normal? I used a fan to cool down the water temp already, my lfs told me he'd kept it in his tank for half a year without chiller or fan (which i'm doubting his words cos he don't look honest :x). Feeding with bloodworm currently, seems to love the food though

Ur most welcome bro.
Yea its normal, i was a bit worried too at first. But all was fine till now. Eats a lot too! My lfs kept it without any fans or chiller too for about four months. I trust this lfs, humble honest fella with nice fh collections.

Hope you have a really huge pond for this guy in the future. Sturgeons can grow to 20feet long.
