aro not eating and became timd

hi shifus.. i need help.. my aro not been eating alot for 3days now and became very timd.. easily spooked and seems restless.. used to be eating alot but suddenly stop eating so much.. only 3-5 small peices of mp and really became easily scared.. test my water parameter, ammonia 0 , nitrite 0, ph abt 6-6.5.. and water seems abit cloudy also..

is it possible for an 12inch aro to go on hungry strike? will aro became timid while on a hungry strike? if not, what is the possible reason for my aro to behave this way?

Do u hab any other tankmate/fishes in tank beside this app. 12'' aro?

yes bro. 2x tfb and 2 tiger. both tiget are small in size and been with my aro for a month.

try isolating other fish first.

Think bak... What have you do to yr aro before it turn timid.
Let it stettle down rather to create anymore changes inside the tank like remove e tank mate ... My 2cents!

Check anything external which may have spooked it, such as lighting. Or anything that is new and in constant motion near the tank...

thanks shifus for all ur help. my aro finally started to eat again.. think was going thru starvation period. but only thing that wonder me is why the sudden of becoming timid when going thru that period..

Depending on fish size...they can stave for long periods...
3-4days nothing...

Wat hv u done this 3 days beside WC? (I guess nia nia, coz u said water a bit cloudy mah) or may be hab recover from shock le...

I got Xperience similar problem (fish fasting) water para OK! beri clear but bo cloudy, fish mai jiark seems beri active and occasionally jumping, scale oso drop out, eventually parking (muz be tired le) @ bottom of tank wif eyes rolling nia nia. But, after big WC the fish like sibei songz and starting to eat again le...I oso dunno wat happen...

My fren fish oso suffer similar proplem wor~, after big WC fish oso starting to eat again le...some bro said, "wen water hard the fishes dun feel like eating de" Sound like got logic leh. I know, wen big WC it'll lower the bacteria level and oso will softened the water de.

Dun worry, aros are likdat, temper at times. Told my wife and daughter, our aro prob a female, temper uncertain, can blow like the wind, keke
