Chiller with canister pump

Hi guys


Planning to use eheim 2213 with hailea hs-28 chiller...
Any expert able to advice if there is any conflict with the flow rate?

Plan to use it for the two feet marine tank....
Anyone have any advice for hs-28 chiller? Noisy? High electric consumption?

I don't know about the chiller but what is your tank size? the 2213 has quite a low flow rate. If Im not mistaken its only 390lph.

and oh yes, forgot to add , with the media and all, including the chiller its going to somehow reduce the flow rate.

My tank is 60x40x55cm....not planning to put media inside..
The most is cotton filter only...u think workable with the chiller?

I will recommend to go with 2215. 2213 flowrate might not be good enough and your chiller will tends to kick in more often.

As for the chiller, I used the HS-66 which I find it okay. Just that maybe the flow rate is not strong enough, it tends to kick in more often to my liking. It will be good to use an external thermostat to check the actual temp.

I used to chill my 2ft planted with 2213 filled with media no problem at all.
