Swimm Bladder Problem for Flowerhorn
Hi bros,
has anyone cured flowerhorn which has contracted SBP before? if so, do share your experience... my beloved roundbody luohan contracted SBP last week.. i am forcefully getting it upright in a hospital tank treatment with epsom salt and heater.. is there anything else i cld do to make him feel better? thank you. |

Put epsom salt but without heater. I use ocean free paraclear and clear also. The recovering progrss take quite long. Be patient .

Hi bro. How long did u cure the flowerhorn? During treatment did u force the fish upright? Or just let it be?

I took around 1month to cure. I did force the fish upright the early stage.

ok.. when will be the right time to remove the aid? yesterday tried removing it the poor chap is floating so i put back... meanwhile did you feed the fish?

I removed the aid when my fh is more stable. do not feed the fish.

Ok.. I tried removing it yesterday (5days since contracted) but is not able to ctrl itself.. So i put back liao...
Hearing yr exp does motivate me a lot.. Thx.. |

hi bros,
have any bro out there succesfully "poke" the swim bladder of Flowerhorn to release trapped air? there seems to be no improvement for the flowerhorn and is desperately lookin for ppl who have succesfully done that.... |
